Become a Volunteer
Every Cox volunteer is approved through Leander ISD first. It is quick, it is yearly, and it keeps our kids safe.
How It Works
- Apply online with LISD. The Volunteer Services page has the application; it takes just a few minutes.
- Reapply every school year. Even if you volunteered last year, the 2026-2027 year needs a fresh application.
- Allow up to two weeks. The district runs a background check on every volunteer, so apply before the event you want to help with.
- Everyone needs it. Room parents, classroom helpers, field trip chaperones, and event helpers alike.
