Calling all Potters! Did you know that Cox has its very own kiln! We would love to find someone that’s familiar with how to work a kiln and clay so that our little Comets can start working on beautiful pottery projects! Please reach out to me if you know someone that could volunteer & help!

🫧Bubbles & PJ’s! Party for Kinder!! 🫧 Congrats to our Kindergarten grade, they got the most members to sign up & earned a bubble party this afternoon. Perfect way to end the week and start the Fall break! Thank you to our Cox Community for supporting PTA.

Such a fun time, Mrs. Hall's Kindergarten class won the PTA membership drive and enjoyed a picnic lunch in the courtyard. The students had a fantastic time, and makes our hearts so happy. Seeing the courtyard come to life! Thank you to our Membership VP, Allison Waage for putting this together - best day ever! ♥️

Get Involved — Volunteer!
Are you looking to meet new people? Learn more about the school? Possibly see your child at school? You should consider volunteering! When adults volunteer, all students benefit . . . and parents too! We have so many enjoyable ways to volunteer at Cox Elementary. Your time and skills are needed and so very much appreciated!
Volunteer opportunities
Trunk or Treat CAR sign up
Our annual Trunk or Treat event is on Thursday October 26th from 5:30pm-7:30pm! Parents, teachers, and community members are encouraged to participate by hosting a parking spot during the event. Each parking spot/car typically has a theme of your choice! Google search “Trunk or Treat Ideas” and you’ll find a lot of creative inspiration!

Children's Library Volunteers
Tuesday-Friday from 7:00am-12:00pm. Volunteer slots are 90-120 minutes. Click here to learn more or sign up!
Cox Cafeteria Kitchen Help
Monday-Friday from 10:15am – 1:15pm. Volunteer slots are approximately 90 minutes long. Click here to learn more or sign up!
Playground Duty
Monday-Friday from 9:00am – 1:05pm. Volunteer slots are approximately 90 minutes long. Click here to learn more or sign up!
Lunchroom Monitors
This is only needed one Friday a month so our teacher’s can have lunch together. Shifts available from 10:30am-1:45pm. Volunteer slots are two hours long.
